KFAR YELADIM DAVID
Kfar Yeladim David was founded in Jerusalem in 1994. Working to rehabilitate and attend to the disadvantaged youth of Israel; every child is given a warm and supportive home-like environment that meets their physical and emotional and social needs. Kfar Yeladim David has helped thousands of children escape the cycle of distress and forge a path to a brighter future. KYD operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Welfare, Ministry of Education and the municipality of Jerusalem, Beitar and RBS.
KYD 70 staff members serve close to 300 children ages 6-15, referred by the Welfare Ministry. Their families are unable to provide for their most basic needs such as food, hygiene, clothes, medical care, and education. These children are subjected to physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect and abandonment.
Kfar Yeladim David is unique, as it provides the latest in professional with a warm loving family environment. An individualized therapy treatment plan is created for each child to meet his/her specific needs.
