What is GivePear?

GivePear is a platform that lets you send ecards or print cards in a kinder way, by pairing them with either a kindness or a donation to charity.

Are eCards free?

Yes! Our eCards are forever free, unless you choose to pair it with a charitable donation.

Can I schedule my ecard or print card to deliver on a certain date?

Yes! You can. During the checkout process, you’ll be able to either send your card right away or schedule it for later.

What countries can I send a GivePear card to?

Currently, GivePear is only available in the United States.

How long does a printed card typically take to deliver?

Depending on their destination, our physical cards take on average 5-8 business days to be delivered.

Can I cancel a card?

You may be able to cancel a card scheduled for future delivery if it hasn’t been sent yet. Please contact us if you wish to cancel a card.

Can I edit a card?

You may be able to edit a card scheduled for future delivery if it hasn’t been sent yet. Please contact us if you wish to edit a card.

Which charities are available on GivePear?

All US charities are available on GivePear, you’ll be able to select a charity in the checkout process. If you know your charity’s Employer Identification Number, you can find a charity by using that. If you do not see a US Charity you’d like to donate to please contact us.

Do you give out tax receipts?

We currently do not.

What are your fees?

Credit card processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30 of donations. Givepear fee is 7.1% of donations.

There is an additional $4.50 fee to print and deliver a physical card.

How does a charity get paid?

We send a check to the non profit’s registered address. This can never be changed for security purposes.

When does a charity get paid?

Once the charity account reaches $1000 we will send a payment. For distribution on lower amounts please send an email to [email protected] and we will happily send a payment.

Will my connections know if I cancel their request to connect or remove them from my connections?

No, your connections will not be notified if you decline their invite or remove their connection.
